Managing Workspaces and Inviting Team Members

Workspaces allow you to create isolated environments for different projects, teams, or clients. This guide explains how to switch between your workspaces and how to invite team members to collaborate within a specific workspace.

How to Switch Between Workspaces

You can easily navigate between all the workspaces you are a part of. To switch, locate the name of your current workspace in the top header of the app.

  1. Click on the current workspace name (e.g., CRMChat Demo) in the top right corner.

  2. A dropdown menu will appear, listing all the workspaces you have access to.

  3. Select the name of the workspace you want to open.

How to Invite Team Members to a Workspace

You can add colleagues to a specific workspace to collaborate on leads and tasks. Team members will only have access to the data within the workspaces they are invited to.

  1. Click the current workspace name in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select the Invite team option.

  3. In the invitation screen, enter the person's Telegram Username.

  4. Select a Role for the new member (e.g., Member or Admin).

  5. Click the Invite button.

Important Note for Invitations

Before you can successfully invite a team member, they must first start a chat with the CRMChat.ai bot in their Telegram account. If they have not done this, the invitation will fail. Ask the user to find the bot and press the Start button before you send the invite.

Accepting a Workspace Invitation

Once invited, the team member will receive a message from the bot in their Telegram chat. To join the workspace, they must click the Accept invite button in the message.

By using workspaces and managing team access, you can keep your projects organized and ensure your data remains secure and relevant to the appropriate team members.
